Kayuragi Cherry Blossom incense celebrates the joy of the classic Japanese cherry blossom flowers. The beautifully scented incense sticks have a soft and delicate fragrance which elegantly picks up the best of the cherry blossom tree aroma. Beautifully presented in a decorative paulownia wood box, the design of which is inspired by Japanese kimono fabrics. A small ceramic incense holder is included too. This incense is known as kayuragi, ‘ka’ relates to fragrance and ‘yuragi’ means slowly wafting fragrant smoke, and is made by a Japanese company who have been making incense for 400 years.

I never usually like cherry fragrance but this doesn’t have the normal sickly sweet scent. It’s fresh and floral with a bit of sharpness. The quality is excellent.
