In fact when she first made soap about 28 years ago, she was the only soap maker in Scotland using the cold process method with sustainable and organic ingredients, resulting in a superior soap compared to manufactured soap. she believes we can bring the healing power of nature into our lives and homes by using essential oils and aromatherapy to create a natural and healthy life using ingredients that are sustainable and ethically sourced.

Helps with nausea. Yes—ginger really is well known for helping with nausea, including motion or travel sickness. The root (technically a rhizome) contains compounds like gingerols and shogaols that can calm the stomach and help regulate gut movement. Scientifically, it mainly works by acting on the digestive tract and certain nausea pathways in the brain.
My recipe for colds,flus and cold chest conditions: grate ginger, squeeze lemon and add guava to sweeten in boiling water. Leave to infuse and then strain and drink. Here’s how each ingredient works:
Ginger – warming, anti-inflammatory, may help loosen mucus and soothe the throat
Lemon – provides vitamin C and acidity that can help cut through mucus
Guava – naturally sweet and extremely high in vitamin C
Hot water infusion – helps hydrate and soothe airways.
