WHAT MAKES OUR HANDMADE SOAP DIFFERENT?

We make superior handmade pure vegetable soap that cleanses and softens the skin leaving it feeling smooth and well cared for. The finest oils and aromatic essences are blended in a traditional cold process method.

None of our products or ingredients have been tested on animals and we have a fixed cut off date of 1989 – this ensures that our soaps our cruelty free.

Our handmade soap is free of synthetics. We use 'certified sustainable palm' in our soap. Palm plantations are being planted at the expense of rainforest, destroying the ecosystem and wildlife (including the orang-utan). This is a huge problem as so much skincare and foods are made using palm oil. The absolutely only way to ensure palm oil is not sourced from areas that threaten the planet and the immensely rich flora and fauna is to use this 'green' palm and we wouldn't use anything else. Although palm free soap is available, I believe it is an inferior soap. Palm offers a beautiful moisturising lather and when it is harvested ethically, it also offers a livelihood to the people in poorer countries.

Our organic range is the first soap in Scotland made using 100% certified organic ingredients. With olive oil as the base, our organic range of soaps are beautifully rich, infused with energy and aromatically gorgeous and we believe they are the finest and most ethically produced soaps available on the planet.

Our aim is to produce the most luxurious handmade soap available, which is why we use a generous amount of olive oil, which makes a very creamy lather that is nourishing to the skin. Our soap is naturally antiseptic, refreshing and dynamically wrapped in colourful handmade paper. The benefits of the essential oils and herbs used are well documented and have been carefully selected and blended to create aromatically refreshing soap.

In our Gift Box range we have a selection of natural, organic and hemp based soaps as well as our Gardener's gift box which contains our gadeners soap together with our Muscular/Joint Fatigue massage oil, which speaks for itself. Having used this massage oil over 19 years in our aromatherapy practice for all manner of aches and pains, it has proven itself over and over again and has a huge fan base!  We have a variety of gift boxes which are made using recycled card and then wrapped in handmade paper.
