This soap was named citrus until just before xmas but as every time I make a batch, I end up singing that nursery rhyme, decided to rename it. It's still the same lovely mouthwatering soap that it always was and smells so fresh and fruity!   It has a summery and stimulating fragrance to awaken your senses, with added ground lemon peel to exfoliate – a favourite for shaving.

As I am an enthusiastic gardener, I wanted to create a soap to cleanse hardworking (and very dirty) hands. It smells fresh and medicinal with tea tree, fennel, thyme and rosemary essences, all well known for their antiseptic properties. I have added oatmeal to soften and exfoliate. The muscular/joint fatigue massage oil is a perfect accompaniment to this soap and the only other thing you need after a long day in the garden is a glass of wine!  

Geranium essential oil is well known for its balancing properties in the production of sebum and is good for both dry and oily skin. We have blended grapefruit oil with the geranium which makes this soap refreshing and uplifting to use.

The addition of Irish Moss (carrageenan) and kelp seaweeds make this soap mineral rich and the essential oil blend of camphor, sweet orange and lemongrass creates an invigorating fragrance.

To this soap we have added Himalayan Crystal Salt which has the worlds highest element content with 84 minerals, such as magnesium potassium, bromides and calcium. With the beautiful and delicate fragrance of rose geranium.

A gentle and soothing soap. Lavender no longer has that fusty old-fashioned image but is a fresh and delightful fragrance and is now the perennial favourite.

This fragrance is wonderfully uplifting - rosemary has that fresh and clean fragrance and sweet orange softens the fragrance and stops it from smelling too medicinal. The recent addition of nettle herb has added an extra benefit. It has been used medicinally as it is full of vitamins and minerals and helpful for some skin complaints.

A beautifully rich and sensuous soap that gently exfoliates.  Ylang-ylang is good for mature skin, as is honey which acts as an humectant, attracting and sealing in moisture to the skin.

These hearts are lovely.  I have been cutting a few of these heart shaped soaps from different batches so the fragrance will change.  At the moment the hearts are a blend of Geranium & Grapefruit wrapped in a handmade paper envelope (pink)

We have brought together a  45g bar of lavender soap and 45g bar of geranium/grapefruit soap bound together and embellished with flowers.  Because these soaps are visually attractive, they would make a nice gift for mother's day or for friends.
